Gloucester Youth’s Got Talent!

Safer Gloucester Partnership hosted “Gloucester Youth’s Got Talent” at the Gloucester Guildhall on Friday November 5th 2010 where contestants competed for an iPod touch, five hours in a recording studio and a camcorder. All of the finalists were given a £10 music voucher.

The purpose of the event was to raise awareness of the harm caused by substance misuse. Everyone who auditioned was given a “goody” bag that included information about the harm caused by smoking, drugs and alcohol and where they could get help in Gloucester if they, or someone they knew needed help.
