City Pubs Accept the PASS

Gloucester Licensed Victuallers Association accept the newly designed PASS accredited card as means of ID for age related sales.

Year 6 pupils in Barton, Tredworth and White City have worked hard to get to know the important people in their neighbourhoods.  the winning class from Tredworth Junior School, will visit Dick Whittington Farm Park for a reward


Safer Gloucester Kicks Back Against Domestic Abuse

Safer Gloucester is launching its latest campaign against Domestic Abuse with a booklet advising victims of the support that is available. The booklet “If your family life or your relationship has become abusive, there are people who want to help you” is available to download on the Safer Gloucester website


Stella the Police Rescue Dog at Paws on Patrol!

Stella, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has defied all odds by being rescued from wandering the streets of Taunton, to be recruited and trained by Gloucestershire Police as a proactive search dog, will be coming to meet her fans at Paws on Patrol in Gloucester Park on 7th June. Stella will accompany her handler, PC Claire Todd at the annual event organised by Safer Gloucester.


Youth Mini Bike Project

The Gloucestershire Youth Mini Bike Project is set to provide young people in Gloucester with a safe environment to learn about road safety and the legal aspects of riding mini bikes, when it opens this month. The project will run monthly training sessions between 11am and 1pm at Unit 6, Mill Place, Bristol Road, Gloucester, starting on Sunday 25th May.


Sheducation - beat the garden thief!

Safer Gloucester is celebrating a further reduction in crime in the city this year but at the same time is launching its latest campaign against shed and garden crime and asking residents to keep burglaries of sheds and garages down this spring. The value of property in sheds and garages is more than people think. Thieves can target them for gardening tools, power tools, bikes and golf clubs.
