Project Argus

Project Argus

Safer Gloucester will be hosting a Project Argus training event for members of the licensed trade on Wednesday 24th June at 9am in the Civic Suite, North Warehouse, Gloucester City Council, The Docks, Gloucester.

Project Argus is a multi media terrorist attack simulation in the night time economy, that will allow you to make decisions about what you, your staff and your business need to do in helping to prevent and survive a terrorist attack.  You will discuss the questions and dilemmas posed by the simulation in groups and then share your thoughts and proposed actions with the rest of the attendees. The presentation will be given by a Counter Terrorism Security Advisor from Gloucestershire Constabulary. The aim of ARGUS is to increase awareness of counter terrorism issues and help make us more resilient as a community.

The event is free to attend but interested persons should email by Wednesday 17th June.
