Christmas Crime Prevention

Christmas Crime Prevention The various agencies that make up Safer Gloucester will be in King's Walk on Wednesday 7th December to give Christmas Crime Prevention advice and information to help everyone stay safe over the winter period.

Officers from the City Council, Police, Project Solace, Neighbourhood Watch,Lifelink, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence agencies and Drug and Alcohol Support agencies will be on hand to help with queries from residents and visitors to the city.

There will be information available on how to protect your home and personal property as well as low cost crime prevention equipment on sale eg timer switches, dusk to dawn light bulbs, personal and shed alarms and alarmed bike "D" locks.

We will also be handing out free 2017 Crime Prevention calendars with a seasonal crime prevention message for each month of the year - always a popular attraction. There will also be copies of the November Safer Gloucester newsletter available (see website home page) and some "card minders" designed to prevent your "contactless" bank cards from being scanned and the details replicated in scams.

Don't miss out - do come along and have a chat - tell  us what your concerns are at this time of year and we will do our best to assist where possible.
