Christmas Crime Prevention in King's Walk!

16/Nov/2011

Christmas Crime Prevention in King's Walk! Come along to King's Walk on the 16th November to meet members of Safer Gloucester and get tips to help make Christmas Crime-proof. There will be members from many different agencies: Gloucester City Council, Gloucestershire Police, Gloucester City Homes, Gloucestershire Probation, Domestic Abuse Support, Substance Misuse Support, Neighbourhood Watch, Police Authority and local Councillors.

There will be different crime prevention tools available including trolley coins, purse cables and the famous Safer Gloucester Calendars - while stocks last! There will also be plenty of information to help keep you and your family safe at the most wonderful time of the year.

The event is in Anti-Bullying and Hate Crime week so there will be displays of local pupil's artwork demonstrating their interpretation of these crimes. It is also Alcohol Awareness week and the following week is dedicated to Domestic Abuse Awareness so there will be information available from local support groups.

We will be in King's Walk all day from 9am. If you can't make it into town, you can find some crime prevention advice here.
